The Metropolitan Police stated on Thursday that the British Prime Minister would not face any more fines as a result of the “Partygate” incident; the incident that has hounded Johnson for months.

When it comes to Partygate, Johnson, on the other hand, is still a long way from being out of the woods.
Sue Gray, a senior civil servant, will release her report into the incident next week; which is expected to be harsh on Johnson. Once that report is released, a Parliamentary Committee will be able to launch a probe into Johnson; with the goal of determining if Johnson intentionally deceived parliament when denying any rule-breaking in No 10. Any minister who intentionally misleads the legislature is expected to resign.
Johnson, as unlikely as it may seem, has the ability to weather both of these storms. Even more unbelievable, it isn’t even the most pressing issue he will face in the following months.
