In an hour-long procedure, doctors in Hyderabad, India, removed 206 kidney stones from a 56-year-old man, according to NDTV.
Veeramalla Ramalakshmaiah was in excruciating pain for six months before receiving temporary respite from a local practitioner.
Doctors at Aware Gleneagles Global Hospital performed keyhole surgery on him after his everyday life was disrupted beyond expectation by agony that made it unable to complete simple tasks.
All of the stones were removed during the one-hour treatment, according to Dr Poola Naveen Kumar, a senior consultant urologist at the hospital.
Ramalakshmaiah recovered well following the operation, according to Dr Kumar.
According to hospital doctors, high temperatures have caused a rise in cases of dehydration, which could be the cause of kidney stones.
