According to the BBC, a guy from South London, England, was convicted of murdering his landlords during the first lockdown.
Sonia Butron Calvi, 66, and Edgar Aguilera Daza, 60, were stabbed by Daniel Briceno Garcia, 46, in a “brutal and furious attack” on April 1, 2020.
The couple was discovered in their Stockwell home, covered in their own blood.
Six people, including Garcia, were sharing rooms with Calvi and Daza.
Garcia worried COVID and rent payment during the pandemic, according to the verdict.
Calvi allegedly told one of the tenants on the day of her death that Garci was often in a bad mood.
After hearing screaming, a renter hurried to Daza’s room. Daza was stabbed in the stomach, and Calvi was screaming, according to the witness.
While Calvi implored the defendant to stop strangling Daza, the defendant continued to do so. She also stated that she will contact the authorities.
The witness was also barred from leaving the room.
When the cops eventually came after six 999 calls, they discovered a bloodbath. Garcia had blood on his hands.
Calvi was found face down with a kitchen knife in her hand, while Daza was found dead in a puddle of his own blood in the hallway.

“What was discovered at the property can only be characterised as a bloodbath,” prosecutor Tom Little QC said.
Garcia admitted to manslaughter but denied murder. When he committed the crime, he said he was hearing voices.
A whiteboard was discovered in his room, on which the COVID crisis was written in French and Spanish.
