According to the military administration in the Luhansk region, 12 people were murdered and more than 40 were injured in a day of severe shelling by Russian forces.
Serhiy Haidai, the head of the Luhansk administration, reported that all of the casualties occurred in Severodonetsk.
The bombardment was chaotic, according to Haidai, who added that “primarily the Russians targeted hits on residential buildings.”
“It is impossible to check the area under fire,” he added, saying that the number of casualties was not definite.
