According to The Hindustan Times, a 14-year-old girl in India’s Bihar was allegedly pushed in front of a speeding vehicle after resisting rape attempts by four boys.

The girl said she went outside to relieve herself on Monday evening in a village in Bihar’s West Champaran district. Four boys who noticed her tried to sexually abuse her and dragged her.

“They put me in front of a speeding vehicle when I protested and shouted alarms,” the minor alleged.

The victim is being treated at the Bagaha Subdivision Hospital right now. She had various injuries on her body, according to the police.

“All of the accused are juveniles, and they were allegedly eve-teasing and making filthy comments to the girl for the previous few days,” Mahila police station house officer (SHO) Dharmavir Bharti said.

The accused has been charged with a felony.
