Gas prices have risen to $4 per gallon in all 50 states

It’s not a good track record; according to data from the American Automobile Association, petrol prices in all 50 U.S. states have now reached an average of at least $4 per gallon for the first time (AAA).

It’s happening as global crude oil prices hover around $110 per barrel and while that’s down from March’s highs; the rising national average gas price could suggest higher highs ahead of the summer travel season. AAA says, the seasonal formulation can add up to $0.10 per gallon depending on location as refiners transition to the more expensive “summer blend” of gasoline.
