The festival, which runs from May 17 to 28, has TikTok as an official partner.

TikTok is making a major splash at the Cannes Film Festival. The festival’s official partner, the platform, has a lot going on this year, including a red carpet broadcast with TikTokers that starts on Tuesday.
The engagement, according to Thierry Frémaux, is “part of a drive to diversify the audience” for the Cannes Film Festival.
In a March statement regarding the relationship, Frémaux said, “We’re looking forward to sharing the most exciting and inspiring moments from the Festival and seeing the Festival reinterpreted through the lens of TikTok creators and its community.”
