Supreme Court has given a historic decision, says Fawad Chaudhry

Former federal minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday said that the Supreme Court of Pakistan has given a historic decision.

He said that after two months of hearing, the apex court decision applies to all institutions, adding that Supreme Court refuses to accept loot votes. Fawad maintained that these looters have been disqualified for life. “Today, the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister of Punjab have lost their majority,” he added.Hamza Shahbaz has 171 votes in the provincial government whereas 186 votes are required for showing majority, he said.

“After today, the vote of 25 members whose decision is to be announced tomorrow, ending their governments in Centre and Punjab. At that time, Shahbaz and Hamza should resign from their posts,” the former minister demanded.

He said that he would request the President of Pakistan to dissolve the National Assembly as these people are still incompetent.

He further said that they shook the fabric of our economy, adding he was thankful to God Pakistan has got rid of them.

Until the election is announced, all decisions, including our independence march, are in place, he warned.

Fawad said that there is no time for elections, they have to be held according to the last census.“We want to change the Election Commissioner.We do not accept elections under this Chief Election Commissioner,” he said.

The former minister observed that the current Punjab Governor is Omar Cheema, adding that there is no governance in the largest province of Pakistan.
