ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired the meeting of the federal cabinet in regards to decide on the next general elections in the country.
The federal cabinet disapproved the idea of immediate polls before the electoral reforms, Bol News quoted sources privy to the matter.
The cabinet members opined that some firm decisions are the need of the hour to combat the prevailing economic and political crisis in the country.
The cabinet sources revealed that the members urged the government to take necessary decisions for the betterment of the people.

On the other hand, well-informed sources disclosed that the government and the allies have decided not to hold immediate elections.
Not only this, the coalition has decided to unveil the corruption of the predecessor Imran Khan and his government.
It is pertinent to mention here that PM Shehbaz Sharif will likely address the nation tomorrow (Wednesday).
Sources said that the PM would take people into confidence over the worsening economic and political conditions in the country.
