ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday said that PTI should be taken into confidence over the matter of interim setup in Pakistan.

Taking to his Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry asserted that PTI has been a massive political force in the country and without the confidence of the party no caretaker government can takeover in Pakistan.

Not only this, the PTI leader also said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) cannot hold elections without PTI’s trust.

The former minister for Information and Broadcasting opined that the crisis in Pakistan is not like Sri Lanka.

He was insistent that Sri Lanka has been facing extreme economic crisis whereas Pakistan has been going through a political mess.

“Unlike SL in Pakistan crisis is not economic it’s pivot is political crisis those trying to manage economy without fixing politics are mistaken, Pak needs elections to end uncertainty.”

Fawad Chaudhry maintained that the only solution to this worsening situation in the country was elections.
