Sir Rod Stewart, who was knighted in 2016 by Prince William, remarked that he and Queen Elizbeth II had had the “identical haircuts for 60 years.”

During a visit on a chat show in the United States during his engagement at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the music phenomenon joked about his and the 96-year-old British monarch’s luxuriant tresses.

The singer told Bill Maher on ‘Real Time with Bill Maher’ that, “Do you know what The Queen of England and I have got in common? We’ve both had the same haircuts for 60 years.”

Queen Elizabet, who made a rare public appearance this week at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, will, however, attend some of the major activities during her jubilee weekend.

Ministers have confirmed that over 70,000 Big Jubilee Lunches would be held across the four UK nations over the weekend, with an estimated 10 million people expected to join their neighbours to celebrate the Queen’s record-breaking reign on Sunday, June 5.
