According to The Hindustan Times, a 50-year-old dad was detained for reportedly raping his 24-year-old and 18-year-old daughters.

A police report was filed by the victims’ mother, who is 48 years old. She claims to have five daughters, two of whom are married, one of whom is 18, and the other two of whom are minors.

She said that she had caught her husband rapping their 24-year-old daughter “red-handed.” He pledged he would not repeat the crime after she threatened to file a complaint against him.

The young woman eventually married, and it was expected that the matter would be resolved.

She said she had seen a shift in her 18-year-behavior old’s during the last few months. When pressed several times, she admitted that her father had raped her while her mother was away.

Police promptly filed a FIR under Sections 376 (2) F, 376A, and 506 of the IPC after receiving the complaint, according to ASI Avtar Singh.
