Kate Middleton ‘worried’ about children’s safety as family clocks 170 stalkers: Expert

After 170 stalkers were alleged to be after the royal family, Kate Middleton is thought to be growing increasingly concerned about the safety of her and Prince William’s three children, Princes George and Louis, and Princess Charlotte.

Duncan Larcombe, a royal expert, spoke to OK! Magazine about the challenges facing the royals, particularly the Cambridge family.

Kate’s children’s safety is a continuous concern for her, but she just needs to trust that they are protected by these professional police officers, according to Larcombe.

“They’ve changed and improved the security over time.” Following the 7/7 London bombings, the number of protection officers assigned to William nearly doubled, indicating that the threat is regularly monitored,” he continued.

“They take these kinds of things very seriously,” Larcombe says. I recall a time when William and Kate were on a tour and the security personnel were concerned because a man who wasn’t part of the press pack was present. They are fast to keep an eye on things and wear a protective ring.”

“There’s a lot of protection that goes unnoticed, it’s not just the bodyguards walking them down the street,” he continued. It merely goes to demonstrate that the Royals are exposed to a variety of threats and must remain watchful at all times.”

Larcombe’s remarks were bolstered by claims that the police reported over 170 occurrences of stalking involving the royal family in 2021, with about 10 of them posing a serious threat.

Around 128 are rated moderate risk, whereas 32 are considered low risk.
