According to reports, a boy from Lebanon killed his mother with a knife while she was praying on a prayer mat.

The horrifying episode, according to local media, occurred in Beirut, Lebanon’s capital. When the boy attacked his mother while she was praying, she was injured in the shoulder and neck.

Her neighbours rushed her to the hospital in an injured state, but she was unable to survive the wounds and died shortly after.

The mother and son, according to their neighbours, lived alone in their home and were not bothersome to them.

The youngster, according to his neighbours, had some psychiatric challenges, and his mother used to take him to a religious healer for help with his mental health.
