Google planning to build backend services for Web3 blockchain developers

Google planning to build backend services for Web3 blockchain developers

According to India Today, Google is intending to make it easy for developers working on Web3 to work on blockchain by providing backend services.

Google is attempting to remain engaged in the cryptosphere. In January, it stated that its Digital Assets Team would allow Google Cloud clients to trade cryptocurrencies.

It is not, however, entering the bitcoin market as a platform.

Google Cloud vice-president Amit Zavery was reported as saying, “We’re not looking to be part of that bitcoin wave directly.”

“We’re delivering solutions for businesses to exploit and benefit from the dispersed nature of the Web3 in their existing businesses and enterprises,” he continued.

Web3 is the web’s future, seeking to create a decentralised system based on blockchain technology with no significant players.

Because Google owns the majority of the internet and the most popular mobile operating system, Android, developers need Google’s help.

According to reports, Zavery believes the Web3 business “has already demonstrated immense promise.”

The backend support team will be made up of developers that have previously worked on Web3 projects on their own or with Google.
