According to a senior US defence source, the US has delivered “more than 85” of the 90 howitzers guaranteed to Ukraine; as well as more than 110,000 of the 184,000 ammunition rounds.
According to the official, “more than 310” Ukrainian soldiers have finished howitzer training; with another “50 plus” now being taught, as well as a new two-week course on howitzer maintenance starting today.
At least 20 Ukrainian soldiers have completed training on the Phoenix Ghost drone; 60 Ukrainian soldiers have completed training on the M113 armoured personnel carrier (APC), with another “45 plus” completing training today; and 15 Ukrainian soldiers have completed training on the Q64 mobile air defence radar, according to the official.
According to the official, “shotguns, replacement parts, Humvees, generators; even a handful of more Howitzers” had arrived at various transshipment points around the region.
