Russia’s premium hotel in Odesa is destroyed by a Russian missile

In the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa, a hotel has earned the nickname “the bulwark of the Russian world.”

Russian hotel destroyed

On a Black Sea beach, the luxury development “Grande Pettine” is located. The complex housed seminars dedicated to the brotherhood of Ukraine and Russia while the pro-Russian movement in Odesa was at its pinnacle; roughly ten years ago. One of them was titled “Global Crisis Challenges: Ukraine and Russia’s Unity.”

The venue drew Russian talk show hosts and some of Russia’s most hardline lawmakers. It is still owned by a businessman who was formerly a leading figure in the pro-Russian Party of Regions.

At least one Russian cruise missile hit the “Grand Pettine” this weekend, causing catastrophic damage.

Given important Russians’ favourable recollections of the Black Sea resort’s warmth and elegance; it is doubtful that it was purposefully targeted.

“The hotel and restaurant complex’s structures, as well as the utilities infrastructure, were destroyed or severely damaged. There are no dead or injured people “The prosecutor’s office in Odesa announced the news on Monday.
