On May 8, Ukrainian Armed Forces air defense forces destroyed an enemy missile and a drone over the Odesa region.
Serhii Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Odesa State Military Administration, claimed this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Odesa. At 12:30 today, a Russian cruise missile and a Forpost drone were destroyed. We appreciate the efforts of our air defence forces!” Bratchuk explained.
The Russians fired eight missiles towards the Odesa region on the night of May 7-8, two of which were shot down by air defense forces, while the others hit infrastructure and injured locals.
