An air strike on a school in the village of Bilohirivka, Luhansk area, has killed at least 62 people.
According to source, this is indicated in the consolidated report of the regional military-civil administrations on the situation in Ukraine’s regions as of 08:00 on May 8.
Serhii Haidai, the chief of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, had earlier sent a Telegram stating that at least 60 people had been slain.
According to him, a Russian air strike in Bilohirivka at 16:37 on May 7 sparked fires in a school building covering 300 square meters and the House of Culture.
The fire was put out after nearly four hours, the rubble was removed, and the bodies of two victims were discovered.
“All 60 persons who remained trapped beneath the debris of the buildings are almost certainly dead. The opportunistic bombing of a school with a bomb shelter and the massacre of children in Pryvillia are true ‘Russian world’ horrors. The Russians are unconcerned about who they kill. They’ll kill an innocent child if they can’t kill a soldier “Haidai explained.
On May 7, Russians dropped an air bomb on a school in the village of Bilohirivka near Lysychansk in the Luhansk region. In the school’s basement, some 90 people were sheltering.
