ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Maryam Nawaz expressed her disappointment over lack of crowd in her recent public rally at the Fateh Jang, sources within the party informed Bol News on Sunday.
The party in government and Punjab was not able to even fill a small ground designated for the public rally, in fact, nearly seven thousand people were at the rally when Maryam Nawaz arrived at the ground. Maryam Nawaz preferred to stay inside her car for over an hour as she waited for the ground to be occupied with party workers.

Friction within the party is considered to be the reason behind failed public gathering. A local leader Sheikh Aftab did not come on stage despite repeated requests. The local party leaders faced ire from their leader Maryam Nawaz over poor management.
Maryam Nawaz refused to appear at the Shangla public rally in reaction to Fatah Jung jalsa failure. On request of Amir Muqam, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif led the Shangla public rally. Maryam has warned her local party leaders that every of her coming rallies should be bigger than Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s one led by former prime minister Imran Khan.
Addressing a public gathering in Attock district’s Fateh Jang city, Maryam Nawaz asked if people knew Tosha Khan. She said Imran Khan kept the masses busy in langar khanas and himself kept looting tosha khana.
She alleged that the former prime minister took a vehicle worth Rs150 million from the PM House with him.
“He knows that his embezzlement are surfacing,” she said claiming that he made Farah Khan run from the country.
The PML-N vice president said Farah Khan’s second name was Imran Khan. She said Imran never gave a statement for his sister Aleema Baji, but he appeared on TV to save Farah and said she did not do anything.
She said Imran Khan would keep begging the rest of his life by showing the letter. It was not an ‘Independence March’ by Imran Khan, rather it was ‘Protect Gogi March’, she said.
Maryam said Farah Khan’s connections went towards Bani Gala.
She said there was no existence of a threat letter.
Sometimes he displayed the fake letter and another time he alleged of conspiracy, she said. First he said the letter was received in March, then a day ago he said the conspiracy continued from 2021, she maintained.
