Bella Esmeralda was born on April 18, just a few days after the couple reported the death of their firstborn son. Ronaldo and his girlfriend were expecting twins, but their son died tragically. His daughter, on the other hand, arrived safely and was recently reunited with the rest of Ronaldo’s family.
Earlier this month, the Manchester United star posted an Instagram photo of himself holding his kid. The black-and-white photo depicts Ronaldo sitting on a sofa with his baby, with the message “Forever Love…” and emojis of a heart and a prayer.
Ronaldo shared a photo of the infant with his family, indicating that she was able to return home with her family. Ronaldo thanked the supporters who had sent him messages of support when he posted the picture.
“Home sweet home. Gio and our baby girl are finally together with us. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures. Your support is very important and we all felt the love and respect that you have for our family. Now it’s time to be grateful for the life that we’ve just welcomed into this world,” he said.
