LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader and former finance minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday said he had received passport few days ago and he would soon return to Pakistan, after consulting with his doctors.
“Whatever assistance I can provide from here (in London), I am giving that to my party and the coalition government,” he said.
Commenting on performance of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government’s performance during Bol News channel programme ‘Meri Jang’, Ishaq Dar said the PTI had go an extremely sound economic situation as GDP growth was at 6.1 per cent.
However, he said, as soon as the PTI leaders came into power, they ruined the economy.

He said former federal minister for planning and development Asad Umar had blamed that the PML-N had let loose rupee and interest rate on it.
The PML-N leader said the country was standing at the current point because of their incompetence.
On April 27, Ishaq Dar had been issued passport. As per sources privy to the matter, the passport had been issued in Islamabad.
Whereas, Dar had also confirmed the issuance of his passport by saying that he was informed by the authorities in Pakistan in this regard.
The former minister has been residing in London for the past four years and is a nominee in multiple cases.
While talking to the media, Ishaq Dar had maintained that he had never paid his tax returns late and claimed that he had been fixed in the case.
