Since the beginning of Russian aggression on February 24, Ukraine has been repeatedly threatened by Russia, and it is prepared for any scenario at any time, including on May 9.
This was said by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba at a joint press conference in Kyiv with the foreign ministers of the Baltic countries.
“May 9 does not interest me. What could possibly be worse? Will there be more missiles fired at Ukraine? The Russians have the ability to increase this number at any time, including before, after, and on May 9. Will there be additional Russian troops in Ukraine? This might also happen every day,” Kuleba stated.
He remarked that Putin may exploit the day for publicity purposes and reveal something “huge, spectacular.”
“We’ve been prepared for any event since February 24. And I don’t want to exaggerate the dangers of the May 9 deadline, because anything may happen at any time “the foreign minister stated.
Kuleba responded to a query on the attitude in their countries toward the May 9 festival, which Russia has turned into a cult event, by saying that May 9 is between May 8 and 10, and that he didn’t have anything else to say.
As reported, Ukrainian intelligence, as well as a number of high-ranking military sources in Britain and the United States, suggested that Putin may announce a mass mobilization in Russia on May 9.
