Will Smith appears to be attempting to move on from his Oscars disgrace.

After hitting Chris Rock during the awards presentation, the 53-year-old has apparently been working with a therapist to recover.

“Smith, 53, has been going to counselling after the Oscars incident,” according to Entertainment Tonight.

Smith lost his cool when presenter Chris Rock made fun of his wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head while presenting the Oscars.

“Jada, I love you, G.I. Jane 2, I can’t wait to watch that,” Rock stated before getting beaten on stage by Smith.

Later, the King Richard actor apologised on social media for his actions.

The celebrity referred to himself as a “”work in progress,” he says, before adding, “I’d want to openly apologise to you, Chris.” I was out of line, and I was mistaken.”
