Russian troops are still engaged in combat in the Donetsk and Tavriiskyi directions. According to source, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces published the appropriate remark on Facebook.
The enemy continued offensive operations within the Eastern Operational Zone as of 6:00 a.m. on May 6, 2022, in order to acquire complete control over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and preserve a land corridor between these territories and the temporarily controlled Crimea.
Russian troops did not engage in combat in the Volyn and Polissia directions. Belarus’ Armed Forces continued their operational readiness inspection.
There were no indicators of the enemy offensive group forming in the Siverskyi direction. Russian troops are retaining a small number of personnel, munitions, and military equipment in locations near the Ukrainian state boundary (Bryansk Region, Kursk Region, and Belgorod Region).
Russian invaders did not take active action in the direction of Slobozhsnkyi. The enemy has continued to fire rocket and artillery attacks on Kharkiv’s residential districts and suburbs.
Russian military are expanding air defence, logistic support, and fire damage systems, according to the General Staff. The enemy is reorganising and rebuilding its fighting capability.
Up to 300 wounded enemy soldiers are said to be staying at a Russian-built hospital on the grounds of Kupiansk City Hospital.
Russian troops are undertaking air surveillance to learn about Ukrainian forces’ positions and potential offensive routes.
The enemy engaged in active hostilities in the Donetsk and Tavriiskyi directions.
Russian forces were firing on Ukrainian defenders’ positions in the Lyman direction.
The enemy concentrated its efforts in the Popasna direction in order to retake full control of Popasna and resume the onslaught against Lyman and Siversk.
Russian invaders continue to obstruct Ukrainian military units within the Azovstal factory in Mariupol. The adversary is storming the factory from several directions, with the help of aviation.
