Secretary of State creates system to track voter fraud

Tennesseans can text ‘TN’ to 45995 using a cell phone or other texting device. They will be sent a secure link; to submit their concerns to the Division of Elections of the Secretary of State. The Division of Elections investigates reports of probable voter fraud, misinformation, intimidation, or other irregularities on Election Day; and collaborates with county election commissions, district attorneys, and other stakeholders to take necessary action.

“Our primary priority is to make it easy for Tennesseans to vote while maintaining the integrity of our elections,” Secretary of State Tre Hargett stated. “We’re giving voters a secure and easy means to alert us to any Election Day difficulties so that our office can take necessary action using our new Text to Report Voter Fraud system.” I encourage Tennesseans to contact us if they notice anything that could be voter fraud or whether they have had a favourable or negative voting experience.”
