Priti Patel, the Home Secretary, is facing legal action as a result of delays in the visa process for Ukrainian refugees.

Groups representing Britons who want to host Ukrainians; are planning to file a class action lawsuit and have hired a top attorney. According to the most recent numbers, 27,100 of the 86,100 persons granted Ukraine programme visas have arrived in the United Kingdom. The government stated that the process had been streamlined and that the scheme’s manpower had been increased.
“We are now processing visas as swiftly as they come in”; a spokesperson said, “allowing hundreds more Ukrainians to arrive through our unrestricted methods.”
According to the UN’s refugee agency; more than 5.5 million people have fled Ukraine since Russia’s incursion began on February 24.
