Following riots between Hindus and Muslims in Rajasthan, internet connections were interrupted and a curfew was imposed.

Following new clashes between the Hindu and Muslim communities in Jodhpur; it is the capital of Rajasthan state in northern India, the government has enforced a curfew and cut down internet connections in the area.
Following more fighting between the two groups, there was a “very substantial police presence” in the Jalori Gate area, according to reporter Elizabeth Puranam.
The fights began on Monday, when both communities wanted to hoist religious flags in the same place for religious holidays. Muslims were commemorating the conclusion of the Ramadan fasting month, while Hindus were commemorating Parshuram Jayanti.
Things had cooled down overnight, and Eid prayers were held calmly on Tuesday. However, at at least five distinct areas in Jalori Gate, fights between Hindus and Muslims erupted again.
