US police announces award for Pakistani man for saving citizen’s life

Bilal Shahid, a young Pakistani, has been recognised by local police in California for saving the life of a 72-year-old senior man.

According to accounts, the elderly person Billy Kiyabu, a Livermore resident, collapsed on the pavement. Bilal, who was travelling by with his family, decided to pull over to the side of the road and hurry over to the man to assist him.

Bilal phoned the helpline for a medical emergency after the senior citizen had problems breathing. The police asked the Pakistani citizen to perform cardiac resuscitation throughout the call (CPR). Bilal, on the other hand, was uninformed of the method and simply followed the directions on the phone.

Medical assistance arrived in a short length of time. The officer stated that the Pakistani man’s pulse was restored as a result of CPR, which saved his life.

The 72-year-relatives old’s found the Pakistani man on social media and gave him gifts, thanking him for his assistance at the time.

Bilal stated he doesn’t know how to describe his emotions after saving a human life.

He remarked, “Saving his life was an award for me.”

Meanwhile, the local police department declared that Bilal would be honoured for his prompt assistance in saving a citizen’s life. The award ceremony will be held at Livermore City Council on May 9th.

Bilal is also being praised by netizens for his actions. Bilal, on the other hand, is a Karachi native.
