PTI Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry on Monday claimed that the government is planning a massive smear campaign against Imran Khan.
In a video message, Fawad said fake audios and videos will be used to target Imran Khan’s character. “In the same manner, a woman was paid to write a book in 2018,” he added.
The PTI official said, “They will try their best to tarnish Imran Khan’s character, but the people will not be deceived by it.”
He said a smear campaign against Nusrat Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto was run in 1988.
However, Fawad vowed that the movement for Pakistan’s real independence will not stop from such tactics.
He claimed that millions of people will reach Islamabad with Imran Khan, adding that thousands of youngsters will take to the roads with [Pakistan] flags on Chand Raat (tonight).

Further, the PTI official said the imported government tried to use blasphemy laws against the political opponents. He said no government in the history of Pakistan has resorted to such a course.
“The ministers of interior and law were proudly telling that we have done it,” Fawad criticised.
He said an interview on an American TV set out why Imran Khan was removed from his seat. The PTI official also claimed that the ‘dummy’ government is about to end in a few weeks.
