At Netflix Is A Joke festival, Pete Davidson jokes at Kanye West’s abuse

Machine Gun Kelly, Pete Davidson’s close friend, performed at the end of the event. Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson addressed his long-running dispute with Kanye West during his back-to-back shows on the first night of the inaugural Netflix Is A Joke festival, which continues until Sunday (May 8).

Last Friday, April 29, Davidson attended the festival to debut his new program, Pete Davidson And Best Friends, which will be released on Netflix later this year. He began his show in front of a sold-out Fonda Theatre audience by joking about reports that West sought to spread AIDS rum ours about Davidson, who is presently dating West’s ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

He said, “I had an AIDS scare this year,”

While telling his audience that he got himself tested for the condition since West is a “genius” .He assured followers that he does not have AIDS; he simply has the appearance of having it. Davidson reportedly went on to say that he felt stuck when it comes to responding to West’s abuse because no one in his inner circle could provide him any advise.

Other joke for which Kardashian was in attendance , saw Davidson warn Jon Stewart about a violent curse he may be entangled in. Comedian remembered going to a basketball game with him and Chris Rock last December, and him teasing that “Chris got slapped [and] I got decapitated”.

At first he kept quiet on the matter, Davidson responded by writing to the rapper in a text, “I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us like this anymore and I’m done being quiet.”
