Wendell and Wild is one of the many new animated feature films on Netflix, and it’s one of our favourites. Wendell & Wild, a new animated dark comedy film being developed by Netflix, reunites Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele as two scheming demons.
Wendell & Wild is directed by Oscar nominee Henry Selick, who has worked on films such as Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and others. It wasn’t connected to Netflix at the time.
Selick and Jordan Peele collaborated on the script. The characters for Wendell & Wild were created by Argentinian artist Pablo Lobato. Ellen Goldsmith-Vein for The Gotham Group, Peele via his Monkeypaw banner, and Selick will produce the picture.

Netflix has confirmed that Wendell & Wild will be released on the streaming service in October 2022.
Netflix, on the other hand, is yet to reveal the specific date in October 2022.
Live feeds of a boombox box owned by Kat are one of the marketing Netflix has been doing for the upcoming film.

Wendell & Wild is a Netflix animated film about demon brothers Wendell (Keegan-Michael Key) and Wild (Peele), who need the help of 13-year-old Kat Elliot, a tough girl with a lot of guilt, to summon them to the Land of the Living. But, in exchange, Kat expects a fantastically strange and funny experience unlike any other, an animated tale that defies the laws of life and death, all conveyed through the hand-made craftsmanship of stop motion.
A March 2022 marketing film introducing the characters and their voice performers unveiled the whole voice cast for Netflix’s Wendell & Wild. Have a look:

With a premiere date of October 2022 fixed, it’s evident that Netflix’s Wendell & Wild is nearing completion and is currently in post-production.
