Since the commencement of the war, Nancy Pelosi has been the highest-ranking American leader to visit Ukraine.

In the latest demonstration of solidarity for the struggle against Russia by a major Western leader; US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi led a Congressional delegation to Kyiv to see Ukraine’s president.

Pelosi, who is second in line to the President after the vice president, is the highest-ranking American official to visit Ukraine since the conflict began; her visit represents a big show of support for Ukraine’s fight against Moscow’s invasion.

“We feel we are paying you a visit to express our gratitude for your fight for liberty… According to a video from the Ukrainian president, Pelosi informed President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, “Our pledge is to be there for you until the war is done.”

“Our group travelled to Kyiv to give a clear and loud message to the entire world; America is committed to Ukraine.” We’ll be here till victory is achieved.”
