Multiple explosions were reported in the southern city of Odesa shortly after 6 p.m. local time, according to Ukrainian media and witnesses.
At least one combat plane was seen over the city, the witnesses stated.
The runway at Odesa’s airport has been damaged, according to the military’s Operational Command (South) on Telegram.
The explosions occurred shortly after air raid sirens rang throughout the city.
