Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Dame Mary Berry have teamed together to judge the national platinum pudding competition in honour of Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee.
The Clarence House announced this on Saturday via its official Twitter and Instagram accounts.
“The Duchess of Cornwall and Dame Mary Berry have joined forces to judge #TheBigJubileeLunch and @Fortnums national Platinum Pudding competition, in which enthusiastic home bakers battle to find a brand-new recipe to mark Her Majesty’s Jubilee,” the office revealed, sharing photos of Camilla and Mary Berry from the recording of a special BBC One broadcast, which will air on Thursday 12th May.
“On Jubilee weekend, the winning dish will be reproduced at street parties, family events, and community gatherings as the Platinum Pudding centre piece to celebrations,” the statement continued.
