Russian army is using submarines in the Black Sea to carry out cruise missile attacks on Ukrainian targets.
Russia’s defense ministry confirms the attacks.
The ministry released a footage on Friday showing Kalibr cruise missiles being launched from diesel submarine.
The ministry said that the crew of a Black Sea Fleet diesel-electric submarine unleashed a salvo of Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea towards the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ military equipment.
The Ukrainian forces reported that two dozen units from the Russian army were operating in the Black Sea.
It included submarines with missile weapons.
The troops were launching missile and strikes on military and civilian infrastructure.
The strikes had strategic bombers, ships, and submarines.
According to the report, Russian submarines are “maintaining tensions about the possibility of missile strikes on Ukraine.”
Enemy forces are also planning provocations such as missile strikes on Transnistria.
They claim that Ukraine is attacking the unrecognized republic.
