An injured British guy dressed in military fatigues was apprehended by Russian forces in Ukraine and exhibited on television.
Andrew Hill, who was seen with a bandaged left arm and a makeshift bandage all over his head, was identified.
He is 35 years old, according to Sky News.
According to Reuters, he was filmed while being questioned and stated that he had traveled to Ukraine on his own accord to assist the state.
Mr. Hill hinted at a partnership with the International Legion, a unit set up by the Ukrainian government for foreigners who desire to fight in support of the war effort.
When asked about his rank, the British national stated, “I really don’t have a rank… I just know the international legion mentioned I could help.”
According to Russia’s defense ministry, he surrendered to Russian troops in the Mykolaiv region of southwestern Ukraine.
It is the same site where a second British male, Scott Sibley, 36, a former soldier, was killed several times in the past.
During filming, Mr. Hill indicated that he was from Plymouth and that he had four children and a lover.
He went on to say that Russian soldiers had taken his passport.
Two more British men have been detained in Ukraine by Russian soldiers.
Aiden Aslin, 28, and Shaun Pinner, 48, were apprehended earlier this month while defending the southeastern city of Mariupol. The Sunshine is the source.
