With Joy-Con controllers, you can get moving and immerse yourself in games like soccer, volleyball, bowling, tennis, badminton, and Chambara (swordplay). In addition, a seventh sport, Golf, will be added as part of a free update this fall.
Are you new to video game sports? It’s no problem! This collection is designed for players of various skill levels, allowing everyone to enjoy themselves while playing together.
Anyone – from beginners to experts – can have a blast with the straightforward controls. You can bend your bowling ball, add spin to a tennis stroke, and even kick the ball in a Soccer Shoot-Out with a Joy-Con and the optional Leg Strap accessory. In the summer, a free update will be available that will extend Leg Strap attachment compatibility to Soccer matches as well.
In addition, Sportsmates are new customisable characters in Nintendo Switch Sports. You can earn points by playing online in random matching and redeeming them for in-game gifts including clothes, sports accessories and gear for your Sportsmates, pyrotechnics for your Soccer goal, and even a squirrel costume! You’ll also be able to play as old Mii avatars, allowing you to continue serving those swings and personalised looks you’ve come to love.

A $49.99 suggested retail price for a physical version of Nintendo Switch Sports with a Leg Strap accessory is available. Ring Fit Adventure’s Leg Strap accessory is also compatible with Nintendo Switch Sports, and a Leg Strap accessory may be purchased separately for $9.99 at the suggested retail price.
