An IT professional who is undergoing treatment for cancer took to LinkedIn to disclose his job search struggles, posting a photo of himself doing an online interview from the hospital.
In his article, Arsh Nandan Prasad stated that he was not searching for sympathy and simply wanted to prove himself.
Prasad was clad in a medical gown and sat on a hospital bed in the photo.
Interviewers turned him down as soon as he mentioned his medical condition and chemotherapy, according to the IT professional.

“It surely demonstrates how generous these firms are when you give your best in the interviews but are not selected simply because you are going through a hard phase in life,” he wrote. I’ve noticed a shift in the recruiters’ expressions as they learn that I’m fighting cancer.”
People praised Prasad’s bravery and referred to him as a “fighter” after seeing his message.
Some others spoke about their own interactions with Prasad.
Prasad was even offered a job by Nilesh Satpute, the CEO and founder of Maharashtra-based software firm Applied Cloud Computing, according to NDTV.
Satpute stated, “There will be no interview.”
Prasad’s post has been shared over 600 times since it was first shared. There have been over 100,000 likes and 3,700 comments on the post.
