Truth Social, Donald Trump’s new social media app, has soared to the top of the Apple App Store’s charts.
After Elon Musk took over Twitter, the app saw a spike in downloads in the United States.
After being permanently banned from Twitter for incitement to violence on January 6, 2021, Donald Trump announced the platform’s launch.
Truth Social was ranked number 52 on Sunday, according to Mobile Insights expert Stephanie Chan of SensorTower, while Twitter was number 39.
Since the app’s launch in February of this year, users have complained about excessive wait times. However, the problem was resolved when the site was moved to Rumble, a new cloud provider.

According to Fast Company, the fast surge in app downloads can be ascribed to the former President’s words, which coincided with Musk’s expressed interest in purchasing Twitter.
“Twitter has become incredibly boring,” Trump stated in an interview with the American press. He continued, “They’ve gotten rid of a lot of terrific voices on Twitter, a lot of their conservative views.”
In an interview with Fox News, Trump stated that he had no plans to return to Twitter, despite Elon Musk’s purchase of the company.
Since its inception, the app has been downloaded 1.4 million times, according to Stephenie Chan’s estimate.
