In Ukraine, 610 children are affected by Russian armed aggression

Since the Russian invasion began, 217 children have died and another 393 have been injured in Ukraine.

According to Ukrinform journalist, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office made the necessary remark on Telegram.

“The Russian armed attack has harmed more than 610 children in Ukraine. The number of people dead have remained steady as of April 27, 2022. (217 children). The number of those injured has risen to over 393, according to the report.

These figures are not final, according to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, because they are still being examined in conflict zones, temporarily occupied areas, and liberated areas.

Donetsk Region (129), Kyiv Region (114), Kharkiv Region (93), Chernihiv Region (66), Kherson Region (44), Mykolaiv Region (43), Luhansk Region (37), Zaporizhzhia Region (27), Sumy Region (17), Kyiv City (16), and Zhytomyr Region (16) now have the highest number of victims (15).

On March 20, 2022, Russian troops shelled Mariupol, injuring a 9-year-old child, as well as an 8-year-old child on March 23, 2022. They were taken to Russian Federation territory by Russian invaders. They have now returned to Ukraine and are being treated at the Ohmatdyt National Specialized Children’s Hospital in Kyiv.

In addition, as a result of Russia’s daily air and artillery assaults, 1,508 educational institutions in Ukraine have been damaged, with 102 of them completely destroyed.
