KARACHI: According to ARY News, the Pakistani rupee continued to rise against the US dollar on Tuesday, jumping 0.52 paisa in the interbank market.
The US dollar is currently trading at Rs186.57 in the interbank market, according to forex dealers.
The dollar was trading at above Rs186 against the Pakistani rupee on the open market.
The interbank rate for the US dollar was Rs186.05 the other day.

On Sunday, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail agreed to the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) recommendations to phase out fuel subsidies.
Miftah Ismail met with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) executive directors in Washington to discuss the reactivation of the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme.
According to sources, the finance minister hinted at continuing the IMF programme and agreed to take off fuel and power subsidies.
