According to the Khaleej Times, the Dubai Criminal Court has convicted a man to life in jail for killing his boss over a dispute over his leaves.
The investigation began in 2020, when a garage manager was discovered deceased in his office. He suffered neck and abdomen stab wounds, as well as major head injuries.
According to a detective, the man’s injuries indicated that he had been assaulted and stabbed violently. A knife, scissors, and a hammer were discovered at the crime scene.
The employees who reported the body were questioned. The worker, who was not there at the time, was suspected by the police. The accused, an Eastern European expat, was then apprehended.

During interrogation, he confessed to the murder and told the police about an argument he had with the victim. He stated that he needed time off and that he had requested his supervisor to schedule a return flight for him.
The defendant stated that he was humiliated. He went to the workshop and returned with a knife, stabbing the victim, and then pounding his head.
