Positional warfare continue in the Luhansk region’s Rubizhne and Popasna. The enemy’s attempts to take the two towns have failed miserably.

According to Ukrinform, this is according to Serhiy Haidai, the chairman of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.

“Positional struggles rage unabated in Rubizhne and Popasna. The adversary is unable to take control of the cities. Multiple attacks are repelled by our defences. The defence line hasn’t changed in a long time. “Orcs are losing a lot of people,” Haidai remarked.

Residential areas, according to officials, are under constant enemy fire.

Six Russian attacks have been repelled in eastern Ukraine in the last 24 hours. There have been four tanks, five artillery systems, 13 armoured vehicles, 15 motor vehicles, two tankers, and an anti-aircraft gun destroyed.

According to Haidai, the Russians are continuing their destructive techniques of destroying Ukrainian communities. Russian bombardment has hit civilians 17 times in the last 24 hours. Popasna, which was almost completely destroyed, as well as Lysychansk and the Hirske community’s towns, were all heavily damaged.

Russian troops were shooting heavy weapons on residential areas in Lysychansk, Popasna, and Hirske, according to the head of the Administration. While reports of casualties are being verified, the shelling continues.
