Hannity messaged White House head of staff Mark Meadows a clasp of McConnell denouncing Trump on the Senate floor on January 19, 2021, and added: “Well this is just about as terrible as this can get.”
McConnell that day offered his most deep-seated judgment of Trump since the uproar occurred, nailing the fault to the president for the brutality.
