Ukraine will receive Milan anti-tank missiles and Caesar self-propelled howitzers, according to French President Emmanuel Macron.
According to Ukrinform, Macron stated this in an interview with the French news site Ouest-France.
“From Milan to Caesar, we’re bringing significant equipment. This is the path I believe we should take. “Our red line has always been that we will not become parties to the conflict,” Macron stated.
When asked about France and Germany’s weaponry shipments to Ukraine, Macron responded, “We have the same strategy as the chancellor, which means we will help the Ukrainians as much as possible but must be careful not to become parties to the fight.”
Caesar is a 155-mm self-propelled howitzer designed to eliminate troops, artillery batteries, earth shelters, and minefields and field obstacles.
The Milan is a second-generation guided anti-tank missile developed by the Franco-German Euromissile cooperation. Milan is a mass-produced system that serves as Europe’s primary short-range anti-tank weapon.
