Mike Tyson punched a fellow passenger on a plane when he became “aggressive” and hurled a water bottle at the former heavyweight champion.
In footage shared by TMZ, “Iron Mike” attacked a man sitting behind him on a flight from San Francisco to Florida.
The man appears to be antagonizing the 55-year-old, standing over Tyson’s chair and gesticulating frantically to the camera.

At that point, Tyson is said to have had ‘enough of the guy talking in his ear and told him to chill,’ and when he refused, a witness claims it was at that moment that Tyson started “throwing several punches at the man’s face.”
Tyson has subsequently been photographed for the first time since the incident, with his representatives claiming the man’s “aggressive behaviour” on the flight prompted his actions.
Unfortunately, Mr. Tyson had an incident on a flight with an aggressive passenger who began harassing him and threw a water bottle at him while he was in his seat, according to a statement from Tyson’s spokesperson, Joann Mignano.
San Francisco police confirmed they were called to the location and detained two suspects in the plane incident.
One of those people was treated for minor injuries and then refused to cooperate.
The police statement said: “That subject provided minimal details of the incident and refused to cooperate further with the police investigation.”
Both people were released pending further investigation.
In 1986, at the age of 20, Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history.
