This year is no exception, especially with rom-com’s like Chand Raat Aur Chandni on the horizon. This telefilm’s cast includes Shahzad Sheikh and Alizeh Shah as the romantic leads, with Ayaz Samoo, Nazrul Hassan, Ismail Tara, and Hina Rizvi as supporting actors.

The story of Chand Raat Aur Chandni is set in a small town. Shami, played by Sheikh, is a nice guy who secretly loves his childhood best friend Chandni, played by Shah. Shami realises his feelings for his childhood friend and plans to stop the wedding and kidnap Chandni with his friends.

Shahzad Sheikh had only good memories of working with Alizeh Shah, “I have had a great experience working with her, she’s fantastic, and a happy and chirpy girl. I am really good friends with her mother also. She is always on time and is very professional, it’s always been great working with her.”

Big Bang Entertainment is producing the telefilm. Sheikh, a frequent collaborator of the production house, recalled his role in the company’s first drama serial.

Shahzad shared, “I actually shot the very first drama of Big Bang Entertainment, which starred me, Fahad Mustafa, and Sonya Hussyn. That was a great experience, after which I did two more drama serials. Now I am actually working with BBE after a few years, and hoping it all goes well,”

The telefilm, directed by Fajr Raza and written by Umair Qazi, will air on ARY Digital this Eid ul Fitr.
