Drake has been granted a three-year restraining order against a woman who not only stalked him but also threatened his life.
According to reports, the Hotline Bling hitmaker’s stalker was ordered to keep at least a 100-yard distance from Drake and his family.
On Tuesday, a restraining order was issued against the stalker, Mesha Collins, in a Los Angeles court.
According to TMZ, Collins was not present at Tuesday’s hearing because the judge ruled that she had been “given timely and proper notice” to defend herself in the case.
In court documents filed in March, the God’s Plan singer claimed that Collins, 29, “has sent messages saying she wishes I was dead and that I should shoot myself and my son with a bullet.”
“As a result of Ms Collins’ harassment and obsession with me, I have suffered and continue to suffer emotional distress, and I am concerned for my and my family’s safety,” he said.
