Travis Barker revealed the particular purpose behind his romantic proposal to Kourtney Kardashians, and Khloe Kardashian was unable to hold back her emotions.

The Blink-182 frontman explained why he selected October 17 to propose to Khloe and Kris Jenner in a new episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians.

“While on the phone with Travis, Kris stated, “I think we obtained the date you wanted.”

“So the 17th was the first time we ever got together. I’ve been madly in love with Kourtney for as long as I can remember, as I told your mother “Travis said.

“I feel she is my soulmate, and I want to propose to her on the first day we met,” he explained.

Khloe broke down in tears as she reacted to Travis’ confession, adding, “I’m really pleased, simply because Kourt is going to be so happy.” I don’t cry, and I’m sobbing because I’m pleased, which is (expletive) strange for me.”

“I don’t believe I wept when I got engaged!” she said. “I’m simply overjoyed because she’s never wanted to marry or do anything like that before, and I know she does now with him.”
